It’s time to play the A.C.E. card with Pelvic Floor Secrets
Why do some suffer pelvic floor dysfunction and others don’t? Why do approximately 10% of the UK population have a pelvic floor secret they are not willing to share that is inhibiting their ability to enjoy life the way they would like to?
If you have a pelvic floor secret that you would rather not share or ‘keep’ you are not alone. Approximately 10% of the UK population are in the same position. 10% of approximately 70 million people no small number – around 7 million people! This is literally the total population of London (8.63 million Oct 2016). Now if you are London based, you know we are overcrowded – can you imagine every single Londoner leaking as they laugh, cough or sneeze, or walking around with that dragging sensation descending into your vaginal canal? Or having a lack of sexual feeling during intimacy, prostate issues or erectile dysfunction? No? I can’t either.
Many people experiencing these debilitations also have little success in ‘reversing the damage’ because:
- They either do not report it or seek the correct help
- They only get assistance with the actual point of pain
- They do not comply with the programme or exercises given
The truth is that pelvic floor health and happiness is intimately linked with emotional guarding, poor posture diet and lifestyle habits, which are totally overlooked and thus are the key to success or failure. It is time to play the A.C.E. card with Pelvic Floor Secrets.
When pelvic floor muscle weakness is addressed only at the point of pain the results are either poor or short-lived at best. The body is a system of systems, the best technology on this planet. Just as a computer has a central control tower so too does the body. The wires to and from computer servers send and receive messages, in the same way as our central nervous system. The nerves, cells, discs, muscles etc send and receive messages via the spinal column to and from the brain, that control the function and integrity of the pelvis and pelvic floor muscles. All of these are directly influenced by emotional ‘hoarding’ dietary choices and lifestyle habits, which are visible in posture, gait and body shape and invisible in the pelvic floor dysfunction being experienced.
The first step in healing your pelvic floor muscle weakness is to understand the root cause. “I don’t deal with the symptoms I deal with the dis-ease.” Once you can find where the dis-ease starts (emotional, structural, dietary) you can begin to rebalance the body then the symptoms begin to disappear. You cannot ‘Reverse the Damage’ without understanding your body and how it really works.
This is my A.C.E. card – ‘Acknowledge, Condition, Enjoy.’ It offers the best solutions for pelvic floor health and happiness. If you want change, you have to change. Changing the way think allows you to approach the dysfunctions you and begin to have success. The true value you place on your pelvic floor health and happiness dictates the investment you are willing to make to have the rewards you desire. Confidently continent and sexually satisfied are just three of those rewards – but there are six: ‘flatter abs, better shaped butt, better shaped thighs, improved posture, dry knickers always, great sex!’ Which one don’t you want?
‘Shaping a better future from the inside out’ is the only way to have pelvic floor health and happiness.
